Timothy was trained in the U.K. (2001 – 2003) with the N.H.S Trust (British National Health Service) as a counselor for occupational health, depression, bereavement, anxiety, stress and drug/alcohol abuse within the public sectors work force. Tim is a member of the B.A.C.P. (British association of Counselors and Psychotherapists) and adheres to their ethical practices.
In 2004, he worked as an addictions support worker and trained as an addictions counselor. Tim in 2006 began working in primary care addiction centres in the UK and Greece, and has been doing the same in Asia for the last five years.
Tim, as the adult child of a recovering addict of over 30 years, has firsthand experience with family and young adult support groups. With this background and over ten years of experience in primary and secondary addiction care, he is now in charge of Sober House, clients practice living in a therapeutic environment with a program that includes freedom and choice to manage their time and day-to-day lives.
