Kristina Ronnquist
Counsellor
Kristy is a Masters level therapist and a registered Associate Clinical Social Worker with the Board of Behavioral Sciences in California.
She earned her undergraduate degree in Communications Studies from San Francisco State University, and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, which is consistently one of the top Social Work programs in the United States.
Kristy has extensive experience in the field of addictions therapy and mental health, with focused training in Crisis-Intervention techniques, Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, and Problem-Solving Therapy. She gained much of her training in both micro and macro Social Work in the Women’s County Jail in Los Angeles, California.
Her work has also included providing comprehensive individual and group psychotherapy to victims and children of domestic violence, as well as dual-diagnosed adults and seniors in residential and outpatient treatment centres throughout California.
